Who is Srimati Radhika? She is the internal potency of Krsna, Krsna antaranga shakti. And She fulfills all His desires.
krsna-vancha-purti-rupa kare aradhane
ataeva ‘radhika’ nama purine vakhane
“Her worship (aradhana) consists of fulfilling the desires of Lord Krsna. Therefore, the Puranas call Her Radhika.” (CC Adi-lila 1.487)
The puranas said, “Srimati Radhika fulfills all the desires of Krsna. For this regard, Her name is call, Radha. Try to understand this philosophy. Aradhana (worship), She fulfills all the desires of Krsna.
Actually, the word “Radha” is coming from the Sanskrit word, root. That is called, Radha da root. Radha means to give pleasure (ananda). Opposite, another word, aparadha. Radha means love and affection. In English, aparadha means offenses.
In Sanskrit word, if you have no love and affection with someone that is call aparadha, offenses. If you have no love and affection with Vaishnav that is call Vaishanav aparadha. Aparadha two syllables. Apa. Radha.
Apa means has gone away. Radha means love and affection. Your love and affection has gone away. That is call aparadha. If you have no love and affection with the devotee, Vaishanav. That is Vaishanav aparadha. Nama aparadha means you have no love and affection with Harinama. That is call Nama aparadha. That time you no taste to chanting Holy Name. Mind will be disturb.
If you love someone means you always remember him and always glorify about him. This is the nature. If you love someone, then your nature will be to glorify him.
Do you love me? Whom do you love? (Gurudev asking devotee in audience). Guru and Krsna, but very difficult. You love you family members, wife children, wealth. This is the nature. Conditioned soul, they love the nature. Spiritual love means, you love Guru, Krsna, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Radha and Krsna. Then always what will you do? Eagerness will come to glorify about him. Then your heart will be automatically a beautiful and cheerful heart. Cheerfulness will come into the heart. Glorify to Krsna. Glorify to Srimati Raadhika. Glorify to Guru and Vaishanava.
Do you have love for Harinama? If you have love for Harinama, you will be chanting Holy Name. If you are very hungry then you eat any kind of foodstuff then taste will come. If you are hungry, two, three days you did not eat any food then after two, three days if you get the food then you close your eyes when eating. If you are not hungry. No apetite. So, no taste to eat.
As like one who is suffering from the yellow fever. That is call jaundice. If you eat anything, everything is bitter. You will have no taste to eat anything. Everything is looking like yellow. Yellow fever, jaundice. This symptom, eyes will become yellow also. And tongue will become also yellow. This is true. Do you understand? If you urinate, it will be also yellow color. Everything in you also yellow. And so much weakness coming. Your blood also yellow. Even if you take the sugar candy, also bitter.
In the same way, if you have no taste to Holy Name then very difficult to chant Holy Name. By force you chant Holy Names then one day taste will come. Example, you have yellow fever and if you take the sugar candy, bitterness will come. Again and again lick little bit sugar candy then slowly slowly your yellow fever, jaundice will be removed then one day your taste will come. Sweetness taste will come.
So, Rupa Goswamipad explained in the Nectar of Instruction (Upadesamrta, text 7), syāt kṛṣṇa-nāma-caritādi-sitāpy avidyā-pittopatapta-rasanasya, if you have no taste for Holy Name means you have yellow fever, offenses in your heart. So, no taste to chanting the Holy Name.
Srimad Bhagavatam explains, if you have no taste in chanting Holy Name and no eight kinds of symptoms of prema, then you think many kinds of offenses in your heart. Harinama is very tasty, sweet thing but you have no taste to chanting Holy Name. Then you think in your heart so many kind of offenses, aparadha. And maybe, many kind of sinful activities in your heart. For this regard, you have no taste chanting Holy Name.
Harinama ruci nahi keno taba krsna nama tabe jani purva jani kare……, in this Bengali song explains, “O My why I have no taste to chanting Holy Name ?” Why ? In previous life, you committed many sinful activities. For this regard, you have no taste to chanting Holy Name. So now, what to do ? Chanting by force, Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Take this medicine. What is the medicine ? Harinama. Do you understand ? hari-sthane aparadhe tare hari-nam (Vaishanav vijnapti).
You committed offenses at the lotus feet and what is the solution? Chant Holy Names. Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Chant the Holy Names. One day, sweetness will come when you chanting Holy Names. Taste will come when you chanting Holy Names.
So, I have just explained, apa-radha. …… who have no love and affection with vaishanav. No love and affection with Holy Names. That is call offenses, Nama aparadha. Vishnu aparadha. So, Srimati Radhika means is what ? Radha, One who gives pleasure Krsna. Radha means to give love and affection. Srimati Radhika, She is called the embodiment of Divine Love. Prema mayi murti Srimati Radhika. If you chant one thousand Vishnu Nama is equal one Krsna Nama. If you chant three Rama Nama equal one Krsna Nama. If you chant 100 times Krsna Nama equal one Radha Nama. So, which Nama is best ? Radha Nama.
Srimati Radhika’s Name very sweetful and give so much happiness. Only chanting Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe. If you go Vrndavan, no one chanting Krsna Nama. Eveybody is chanting Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe. If you go Braja mandal parikrama Vrndavan even the small baby is chanting Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe.
Try to go. (Gurudev asking devotee, laughing). Everybody come Vrndavan then you see all the residents of Vrndavan and Brajabasi they are chanting Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe.
Everybody come Vrndavan. Everybody come and stay with us chanting Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Everyday take Mahaprasad, listen to Harikatha and chant Radha Name. Morning, evening, evening morning only Harikatha and parikrama, go to all the sweet pastime places of Krsna. Radha kunda, Syama kunda, Giriraj Govardhan, Javat, Nandagram, Barsana. Ha! Very nice beautiful. Everybody come Vrndavan. Because Srimati Radhika, She fulfills all desires of Krsna.
So, our Shastra saying, Krsna-vancha-purti-rupa kare aradhane ataeva ‘radhika’ nama purine vakhane because in Veda, purana explained this way. Srimati Radhika, She fulfills all the desires of Krsna because Srimati Radhika is the pleasure potency of Krsna. Krsna antaranga shakti. Radhe shakti. Ananda shakti. The essence of ananda (bliss) is call prema. Love means is what ? Sacrifice for your love one. You love to someone then you can sacrifice everything. Like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, He gave everything to all the living entities.
anarpita-carim cirat karunayavatirnah kalau
samarpayitum unnatojjvala-rasam sva-bhakti-sriyam
sada hrdaya-kandare sphuratu vah saci-nandanah
(CC Adi-lila 1.4)
Sacinandan Gaurahari Chaitanya Mahaprabhu loves all the living entities. For this regard, indiscriminately He distributed the highest prema to all the living entities. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, He is called the embodiment of munificent and magnanimous. He gave you, Krsna prema. Take Krsna prema. Highest prema of Goloka Vrndavan and chanting Holy Names, Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu distributed this Holy Name. Nama-prema-mala gaithi (CC Adi-lila, 4.40).
Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu distributed the garland of Holy Name and Divine Love. He did not discriminate who is qualified or unqualified. Who is coming ? And who is not coming ? Also, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu going and giving Krsna prema. Because in Kali-yuga there is no other process to attain to Lord. Only chanting Holy Names.
The essence of pleasure potency of Krsna, Haladini, that is call Divine Love, prema.

The essential part of love of Godhead is called mahabhava, transcendental ecstasy, and that ecstasy is represented by Srimati Radhika.
The essence of love is called mahabhava. Srimati Radhika, She is the embodiment of mahabhava.
premera ‘svarupa-deha’ – prema vibhabita
krsnera preyasi-srestha jagate vidita
“The body of Srimati Radhika is the veritable transformation of love of Godhead; She is the dearmost friend of Krsna,and this is known throughout the world.” (CC Madhya-lila, 8.162)
Srimati Radhika’s svarupa (form) means Divine Love, mahabhava.
tabhir ya eva nija-rupataya kalabhih
goloka eva nivasty akhilatma-bhuto
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami
“I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, Who resides in His own Realm, Goloka, with Radha, who resembles His own spiritual figure and who embodies the ecstatic potency [hladini]. Their companions are Her confidantes, who embody extensions of Her bodily form and who are imbued and permeated with ever-blissful spiritual rasa.” (CC Madhya-lila,8.163)
Krsna is called crown jewels of all kind of expert rasa, mellow, rasik-sehkara-krsna. In the same way, Srimati Radhika, rasik-sehkara, very expert in all kinds of mellows. For this regards, Srimati Radhika fulfills all the desires of Krsna. Is this true or not ?
A qualified person can meet with the perfect person. Intelligent person in this material world, intelligent person cannot make friendship with the foolish person. Foolish people cannot make friendship with the intelligent people. This is true or not? This is the nature.
Rich person cannot make the friendship with the poor person. Because, he is rich. He has lots of money. His status is very high. His cloth, shoes, ornaments, everything is very expensive. Poor person ? The cloth is very dirty. No shoes, no ornaments, no nice cloth. So how possible the poor person and the rich person will make friendship ?
But we are saying, the transcendental Krsna, He is Bhagavan. He makes friendship with Sudama Vipra who was very poor. Sudama Vipra, he was poor brahmana but Lord Krsna, He makes friend with him. In this material world, the rich person cannon make friendship with the poor person. But Bhagavan and bhakta, Lord and devotee make friendship. Lord is not looking who is poor and who is rich.
Coming in this way, according to Lord, Srimati Radhika, She knows that She is very expert in all kind of mellows.
sei mahabhava haya ‘cintamani-sara’
krsna-vancha purna kare ei karya tanra
“That supreme ecstasy of Srimati Radhika is the essence of spiritual life. Her only business is to fulfill all the desires of Krsna.” (CC Madhya-lila, 8.164)
Srimati Radhika is the embodiment of cintamani, fulfilling all the desires of Krsna. What Krsna is thinking, before Srimati Radhika, She already prepares everything and fulfills His desires. If you want to serve someone, you have to know his heart.
Guru asked his disciple, “Bring a glass of water”. But what types water do you bring? Cold water or hot water?
If you don’t know the heart of guru, you cannot properly serve the guru. Guru wants the cold water. You brought the hot water. How is it possible?
Servitual mood means you have to know the heart of your worshipable deity. You want to serve the Thakurji. You have to know the heart of the Thakurji. Then, you can properly serve The Thakurji. This is true or not ? So, in the same way, Srimati Radhika, She knows the heart of Krsna. For this regard, She absolutely properly, 100 hundred percent properly She serves to Krsna. What Krsna needs ? What Krsna desire is coming, before She prepares everything for Krsna-seva. Srimati Radhika, She thinks, “I can fulfill all the desires of Krsna. This is true.” But without many consorts Krsna will not be happy. Understand, consort ? So, Krsna not happy. For this regard, Srimati Radhika manifests many forms of the consorts. Especially, three kinds of consorts Vaikuntha, Dwaraka and Vrndavan. Krsna manifest in Vaikuntha in the form of Vishnu. Srimati Radhika also manifested in Vaikuntha as Lakshmi. You have seen ? Vishnu is lying down. Then Laskshmi devi is massaging the feet of Lord Vishnu. In Dwarka puri, same Krsna manifested as Dwarka Krsna. Then Srimati Radhika manifested in Dwarka puri in the form of Satyabhama. In Vrndavan, Srimati Radhika has original Form, Radhika. Then in Vrndavan, Srimati Radhika is thinking without many consorts Krsna will not be happy. Then Srimati Radhika manifested many forms, Lalita, Vishaka and all gopis actually manifested from Srimati Radhika.
janmādy asya yato ‘nvayād itarataś cārtheṣv abhijñaḥ svarāṭ
tene brahma hṛdā ya ādi-kavaye muhyanti yat sūrayaḥ
tejo-vāri-mṛdāṁ yathā vinimayo yatra tri-sargo ‘mṛṣā
dhāmnā svena sadā nirasta-kuhakaṁ satyaṁ paraṁ dhīmahi
“O my Lord, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, son of Vasudeva, O all-pervading Personality of Godhead, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. I meditate upon Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa because He is the Absolute Truth and the primeval cause of all causes of the creation, sustenance and destruction of the manifested universes. He is directly and indirectly conscious of all manifestations, and He is independent because there is no other cause beyond Him. It is He only who first imparted the Vedic knowledge unto the heart of Brahmājī, the original living being. By Him even the great sages and demigods are placed into illusion, as one is bewildered by the illusory representations of water seen in fire, or land seen on water. Only because of Him do the material universes, temporarily manifested by the reactions of the three modes of nature, appear factual, although they are unreal. I therefore meditate upon Him, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is eternally existent in the transcendental abode, which is forever free from the illusory representations of the material world. I meditate upon Him, for He is the Absolute Truth.” (Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.1)
Srimad Bhagavatam first sloka. Janmady…. that means all kinds of mellows coming from Srimati Radhika. Adi rasa, srngara rasa, conjugal mood. Srimati Radhika is the embodiment of conjugal mood and She serves to Krsna everywhere. How many rasas ? Twelve rasas. Five primary rasas and seven secondary rasas. Understand ? Primary rasa – santa, dasya, sakhya, vatsalya and madhurya. Seven secondary rasas – laughter (hasya), wonder (adbhuta), chivalry (vira), mercy (karuna), anger (raudra), apprehension (bhayanaka) and disgust (vibhatsa). Srimati Radhika fulfills all kinds of rasas for Krsna. In morning, I told you what is the qualification of santa rasa? Yes, you are nice boy, if you give answer a little I will be happy that means you are listening (Gurudev responded to a devotee who answered). If you are not giving answer, you are stupid nonsense. If you come to the class, you have to read something. That you are a nice student. Otherwise, you are bogus. Try and give some proper answer, proper answer. Ha! Santa. Qualification ? Nistha. He is my master. He is called Brahma, Bhagavan. He is Atma-rama, self satisfied. Fulfilled desire. Atma-rama, apta-kama (self satisfied, fulfilled desire). Bhakti, this is call what ? Nistha, steadiness. Bhakti first qualification is what ? Guru nistha, steadiness with your guru. Guru nistha, Nama nistha, bhajan nistha. You understand ? This is very important. Guru nistha is the backbone of our spiritual life.
Santa’s qualification ? Nistha. Steadiness. What is steadiness ? Faith in my master. He belongs to me. Srimati Radhika. Nistha. Krsna belongs to me. Understand ? They have this type of love and affection. Sneha. Madhurya-sneha (affection characterised by honeyed intimacy, sweetness, and a certain irreverence, their love and affection is as like honey. Two kinds of love and affection. One is madhurya-sneha. Another is ghrta-sneha (a category of affection that is metaphorically linked to ghee and the ritual religion of reverence for the gods), love and affection is as like ghee. Love and affection is as like honey. So, Srimati Radhika’s this type of sneha for Krsna is as like honey. Srimati Radhika belongs to Me ? One is Krsna belongs to Me. I belong to Krsna. Madhurya-sneha. In Dwarka, Rukmini and Stayabhama, they are thinking we belong to Krsna. Vrndavan, Srimati Radhika is thinking He belong to me. As like mother thinks my son. This son belongs to me. Mother has so much possessiveness with the baby. This is my son. In Vrndavan, Nanda and Yasoda are thinking, He is my son. For Srimati Radhika, Krsna is my beloved. Understand ? So much mamata (possessiveness). Mamata,understand ? Mamata means belongs to me. Always, I keep Him in My heart. Mama mana mandire raha niśi-din kṛṣṇa murāri śrī kṛṣṇa murāri (singing) – always in the temple of my heart, O Krsna Murari. Hey! Krsna. Hey! Murari. Always stay in the inner core of my heart. Mama mana mandire raha niśi-din kṛṣṇa murāri śrī kṛṣṇa murāri. Hey! Krsna. Hey! Murari. Always stay in the inner core of my heart. (Gurudev repeated twice). You belong to Me and also, never get out from My heart. What types of glorification of My Govinda ? My Govinda is the blanket in the winter season. Wraps My body. Ha! What is it call ? Rainy season, you like the umbrella. In the same way, My Govinda is like this. Now here is not cold, ha. When I’m coming in April, very cold. That time minus two, minus three, minus five. Ha! Understand ? That time, you also what ? Wrap your cloth to your body (Gurudev making shivering sound and audience laughing with Gurudev). If I say, give your blanket to me. You say, no, no, no, no, I don’t give. Ramananda prabhu, you understand (Gurudev asking a devotee amongst his audience). In the same, Srimati Radhika is saying, Krsna is as like My blanket of the winter season. Krsna, He belongs to Me. So, Srimati Radhika says this way. If everybody give lots of wealth, jewels, money, just smile and say, Hey Srimati Radhika! Give Your Beloved to me for a few days ? No, no,no! My Beloved Govinda is as like the blanket in the winter season. Only is what ? He stays in the inner core of My heart. Srimati Radhika has so much mamata, possessiveness to Krsna, Govinda. Hey Govinda! Always stay in My heart, never go out from My heart. Mama mana mandire raha niśi-din kṛṣṇa murāri śrī kṛṣṇa murāri. Hey Krsna! Hey Murari! Always You stay in the inner core of My heart, never go out from My heart. You understand ? So those who are devotees of santa have no this type of mamata. Santa rasa only one qualification called nistha, steadiness.
Then dasya devotees, two qualifications. Nistha, steadiness to his ishtadev and servitual (servitude) mood (sevaka). As like Hanuman, the best example of dasya rasa. He said, “I am servant”, kinkara. (dasa – servant). How will treat guru ? Ha! The desire to serve my istadev, Rama. Servitude mood, one is call the knowledge of relationship and another, mamata, possessiveness. First come, sambandha-jnana, the knowledge of relationship. What is the knowledge of relationship ? Who is your Krsna ? Understand ? You worship Thakurji. Who is your Thakurji ? What is your relationship with him ? Ha! Who is your Thakurji ? What is the relationship? According to the relationship you can serve. As like Mother Yasoda, she serves to Krsna because Krsna is my son. Vatsalya bhava coming. Subal. Sridham. They serve Krsna with their friendship mood. Krsna is my friend. Gopis serve to Krsna with the relationship of lover and beloved. So in the same way, servitude means coming the knowledge of relationship. This is very important. Chanting Gayatri mantra, Gopal mantra, then must now relationship. Understand ? Guru gives this relationship in the heart of the disciples through mantra ? Understand ? Gayatri mantra, you chant. Gopal mantra. Kama gayatri. So, dasya rasa, this is two things. Nistha, steadiness and servitude mood.
Then sakhya (fraternity), friendship mood, three qualifications are there. What is that ? Nistha, seva-vritti and friendship. Subal and Sridham are My friends. sakha suddha-sakhye kare, skandhe arohana tumi kon bada loka, — tumi ami sama, “My friends climb on My shoulders in pure friendship, saying, ‘What kind of big man are You? You and I are equal.’ ” (CC Adi-lila, 1.4.25). Subal and Sridham, they are also embracing to Krsna. One on His shoulders. Giving their remnants to Krsna. So much lovae and affection.
itthaṁ satāṁ brahma-sukhānubhūtyā
dāsyaṁ gatānāṁ para-daivatena
sākaṁ vijahruḥ kṛta-puṇya-puñjāḥ
“In this way, all the cowherd boys used to play with Kṛṣṇa, who is the source of the Brahman effulgence for jñānīs desiring to merge into that effulgence, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead for devotees who have accepted eternal servitorship, and who for ordinary persons is but another ordinary child. The cowherd boys, having accumulated the results of pious activities for many lives, were able to associate in this way with the Supreme Personality of Godhead. How can one explain their great fortune?” (Srimad Bhagavatam 10.12.11)
Srimad Bhagavatam, Sukadev Goswamipad told this sloka (verse). This verse explains how Subal, Sridham, they (friends of Krsna) have love and affection for Krsna. They are embracing, kissing, ha. They never think Krsna is Bhagavan. He is my friend. Sometimes joking, laughing with Krsna. Herding the cows with Krsna. Embracing in the neck as like friends. Handshake. O My friend. Hahaha! (Gurudev laughing). Very nice love and affection with Krsna.
Then vatsalya rasa (parental mood). How many qualifications ? Nishta (steadiness), then servitude mood (seva-vritti), then friendship mood (sakhya) and parental mood (vatsalya). Nanda and Yasoda always thinking Krsna is my son.
mātā more putra-bhāve karena bandhana
atihīna-jñāne kare lālana pālana
“Mother sometimes binds Me as her son. She nourishes and protects Me, thinking Me utterly helpless.” (CC Adi-lila, 1.4.24)
My mother, Yasoda, she is always thinking I am her ordinary son. Mother Yasoda nourishment to Krsna. She putting very nice cloth to Krsna. Understand ? Very nice, beautiful yellow garment. Pitambara, peacock feather and also putting flute in His hand. Mother Yasoda always service to Krsna and churning the yoghurt making the fresh butter for Krsna. Sometimes, baby also doesn’t want to eat but mother taking the food, take, take, take. By force. Sometimes baby does not want to eat but wants to play but mother also taking the food chasing behind the baby. Your baby sometimes don’t want to eat (Gurudev to devotee in audience), but mother by force, take, take, take. Then mother Yasoda told to Krsna. Krsna, You would not eat then you are choti will not grow. Look, Baladev not choti. Why ? He is eating very nicely. In this way, mother Yasoda, she feeds to Gopal. Vatsalya bhava. Sometimes, Krsna doesn’t want to sleep. Then mother Yasoda taking her lap and put Govinda there. Sometimes, Krsna told, “My mum, I cannot sleep”. Then mother Yasoda started to speak some story or grandmother stories. You know grandmother stories ? (Gurudev asking audience). Hey! Sleep. Late now. If you do not sleep with will come. You now witch like baby ? Old and long nose. No teeth. Hair down. She is running here and there. She has one big…what do you call ? Bag. If you don’t sleep the witch will come and take you. Put you in the bag (audience laughing). Then Krsna said, “O no! no! I’ll sleep”. Grandmother story, ha. So, in this way, sometimes mother Yasoda, she talk with Krsna about grandmother stories. Day and night, mother Yasoda thinking how to serve to Krsna because she is the ever well-wisher of Krsna. This is the nature of the mother. The nature of the parents. Always thinking day and night, how my baby health will be ? This is vatsalya bhava. Very nice serving to Krsna. If baby not following, sometime also chastising. That is call loving, love and affection. Another is inconceivable loving in your heart. Understand ? Inconceivable loving in your heart. This is the nature in the heart of the Brajabasis. Inconceivable loving trust. Prema mayi Krsna. How to serve Krrsna ?
lasat-kuṇḍalaḿ gokule bhrājamanam
parāmṛṣṭam atyantato drutya gopyā
“I worship the Supreme Isvara, Sri Krsna, whose form is sac-cic-ananda, whose makara-shaped earrings swing and play upon His cheeks, who is supremely splendorous in the transcendental dhama of Gokula, Who, due to the breaking the yoghurt pot, is very fearful of Mother Yasoda and jumping down from the wooden grinding mortar quickly runs away, and who, chased by Yasoda, who hastily runs after Him, is ultimately caught from behind.”
rudantaḿ muhur netra-yugmaḿ mṛjantam
sthita-graivaḿ dāmodaraḿ bhakti-baddham
“I worship that Damodara who, afraid of the stick in His mother’s hand, cries and time and again rubs His eyes with both His lotus hands, whose eyes express extreme fearfulness, whose sobbing makes the jewel and pearl necklaces upon His neck marked with three lines shake, and whose belly is bound only by His mother’s devotion.”
itīdṛk sva-līlābhir ānanda-kuṇḍe
sva-ghoṣaḿ nimajjantam ākhyāpayantam
tadīyeṣita-jñeṣu bhaktair jitatvaḿ
punaḥ prematas taḿ śatāvṛtti vande
“By childhood pastimes such as this, He perpetually immerses the inhabitants of Gokula in pools of pure bliss, and through them informs the devotee desirous of knowing His aspect of supreme opulence and majesty that He is conquered only by those who are free from knowledge of His aisvarya – with great love I again and again worship that Damodara Sri Krsna.”
Bhakti-baddham. Glorify Krsna very nicely. This Damodara lila how mother Yasoda bind to Krsna. Damodarastakam is saying this way.
Now coming madhurya bhava, that is call sweet mood, conjugal mood. How many qualification for conjugal mood ? Understand ? Ha! What is that ? (Gurdev asking audience) nistha, dasya, sakhya, vatsalya and madhurya (conjugal mood). Gopis, they use many scolding words, harsh words to Krsna. So much love and affection that is why they use these harsh words to Krsna. In Vaikuntha also they cannot use these harsh words to her husband, Narayan. Sita devi in Ayodhya, She cannot use any harsh words to Lord Rama. In Braja, gopis how they use hash words to Krsna ? Using what words ? Stupid, nonsense, thief, butter thief, debauchee. Understand ? This is why ? They have so much love. Their love so much condensed in the heart. As like, give you an example, as like sugar candy. Then sugar candy you can get the juice. Then juice purification and condense, you get molasses, gold color. Gold then more refine coming you get sugar. Then sugar candy. This is step by step. In the same way, prema, more, more and more refine coming very nice beautiful. As like milk boiling, boiling, boiling, so condense milk coming, so sweet. In the same way, love more refine, sneha, mana, pranaya, raga, anuraga, bhava, mahabhava, more and more and more. And especially so much love and affection with Krsna.
rādhā-prati kṛṣṇa-sneha–sugandhi udvartana
tā’te ati sugandhi deha–ujjvala-varaṇa
“Srimati Radharani’s transcendental body is brilliant in luster and full of all transcendental fragrances. Lord Krsna’s affection for Her is like a perfumed massage.”

So much love and affection with Krsna. For this regard, Srimati Radhika complexion is molten gold, tapta kancana gaurangi.
